Kate to Open Up The Magic Garden, a Children's Garden at Hampton Court


Caption: Fit for a prince! The enchanting-sounding Magic Garden will officially open at Hampton Court Palace next week. 

While George is just about old enough to enjoy it, soon-to-be one Charlotte is still too young With two small children, the Duchess of Cambridge is well placed to know whether a children's attraction is likely to prove a hit or not.

So perhaps it's not surprising that Kate, 34, has been asked to unveil a brand new attraction at one of the country's most famous royal palaces.

The Duchess will travel from her home in Norfolk to Hampton Court Palace in Surrey on Wednesday next week to open The Magic Garden. 

The brand new playground has been designed by award-winning landscape architect of RHS Chelsea, Robert Myers, and is included in the ticket price for visitors to the popular tourist attraction, which dates back to 1514.

While George, at two, is old enough to enjoy the attraction, which recreates what it might have been like to live as Henry VIII did in his stately Tudor Court, sister Charlotte, who turns one on Monday, doesn't make the 2-13 age limit.

The fun-packed garden has been created in the palace's one-time tiltyard, which would have been used for tournaments and jousting. Read more: Click link for full post from The Daily Mail.
